Doylestown Health is proud to introduce the inaugural class of Family Medicine resident physicians. This accomplished group of eight residents, graduating from both regional and international medical schools, brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and curiosity to Doylestown Health. Over the next three years, they will utilize our health system’s expertise to become board-certified Family Medicine Physicians.
Doylestown Health’s team of award-winning primary care and specialty physicians will teach, train and mentor our residents, with an emphasis on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care under the direction of Benjamin Mathews, MD, Program Director and Scott Blore, MD, Associate Program Director, and several core faculty members.
Beginning on July 1, 2023, residents will rotate through various departments at Doylestown Hospital, Grandview Health, and a dedicated outpatient Family Medicine practice, the Doylestown Health Primary Care Residency Practice at the Health and Wellness Center. “We are pleased to offer extensive patient care services to our community and welcome patients of all ages to visit our new clinic conveniently located in Warrington, Pa.,” says Dr. Mathews.
“Our inaugural family medicine residents are not only joining Doylestown Health, but they will also become a part of our community. As we all know, people who come to Bucks County are inclined to stay here–for the arts, culture, and the superb healthcare,” says Scott Levy, MD, Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer for Doylestown Health. “We are proud to help train the next generation of healthcare providers.”
